Mapping Technician

Land Survey and Mapping Department

Albert A. Webb Associates is currently seeking a Mapping Technician for our Land Survey and Mapping Department. Typical Job Duties Include:

Preparation and processing of final maps, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, legal descriptions, and plats. Preparation of Certificates of Compliance, Parcel Mergers, Lot Line Adjustments, Corner Records, Tract Maps, Parcel Maps and Record of Surveys. Serve as a mapping specialist providing technical drafting support for Land Survey related efforts.

Minimum Requirements

Must be proficient in AutoCAD and Civil3D software. Ability to produce drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of land survey mapping and engineering designs using AutoCAD software. Minimum of 3 years drafting experience. Minimum of 5 years mapping experience. Good working knowledge of planning and construction documents. Excellent technical and communication skills. Ability to work independently on several concurrent projects. Ability to read, understand and adapt to local agency standards and be able to communicate with agencies and clients directly and effectively when necessary.

Preferred Experience

LSIT certifications preferred.
