ATTENTION NCVPS STUDENTS!!

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO PARTICIPATE


IN THE

VIDEO CONTEST?
The North Carolina Virtual Public School is seeking student video submissions in
order to compete for prizes and opportunities to be featured on our new website to
be launched this summer! The following criteria must be followed:

1. The student must be a currently enrolled student in an NCVPS course.


2. The student must complete a Parental Consent Form (located on our website)
and return it to NCVPS.
3. The video cannot exceed 4 minutes.
4. The video must answer the following questions:
♦ Why is NCVPS a good opportunity for today’s
students?
♦ What was great about your learning experience?
♦ Why did you take an online course with NCVPS?
♦ Why would you recommend NCVPS to other
students?
5. The video needs to incorporate some of the activities or
screen shots from your course.
6. The video must have a positive tone and not contain any objectionable material.
7. The video can be submitted to NCVPS via CD or can be uploaded to a video
streaming server (YouTube, BlipTV, etc.) and the link must be submitted to
NCVPS for viewing/judging.

This is YOUR opportunity to be an ambassador for NCVPS and help us to market


our program from a student perspective! The top 5 videos will receive a prize
(prizes include: ipod shuffle, flash drives and a refurbished computer from
Kramden Institute*) and will be featured on the NCVPS website.
