Withem Logic Sampling and Scoring Project PROJECT Create appropriate music to accompany video footage using Logic. The project will be worked on outside of class during lab hours. REQUIREMENTS 1. Provide original music that appropriately underscores the video clip. Score the entire clip, which is about one minute in length. (5) 2. Create two different and original sampled sounds to use in your music. (4) 3. Use two software instruments (EXS24), two synth instruments, and one loop. (2) 4. Use the Marker to set up 10 events, or hit points. (1) 5. Use effects and/or automation on all the tracks; choose your effects appropriately. (2) 6. You will have a total of seven tracks; mix the music to create a clear blend of sounds. (1) 7. You may adjust the time signature to meet the dramatic demands of the footage. GRADING - Total Points: 15 - The individual points for each category are listed above. - This project is worth 15% of your entire grade for the course. - As stated in the syllabus, the project is due COMPLETED; and incomplete project will be recorded with a grade of 0.

The Logic Project is due Wednesday, May 1st, or Thursday May 2nd, 2013.
