ST.BONIFACIUS, Minn. The last weekend Crown students experience a powerful retreat preparing for missions in the countries they will serve on the summer. They are ten teams and each is going to serve to different countries in this summer 2013. Rinata Sokrutova, the Taiwan leader, tells us her personal experience of how edifying was the retreat for her life. The students that are involved this year on ICE trips (Intercultural Experience) had the privilege to go to the weekend retreat and prepare their hearts and minds for missions. They are ten teams and are going to diverse countries such as Taiwan, Israel, Thailand, Macedonia, Jerusalem and China. They got to learn more of the country and their adjustment to it as cultures traditions for a successful ministry. Depending on the country they will be going they will be helping in churches, orphanages, teaching English and overall sharing the gospel of JesusChrist. I really enjoy leading mission trip last year in my home country and I really want to lead this year too, but I want to be open and available where God needed me and they needed a leader for

Taiwan so I decided to be obey God and go to Taiwan, student leader for Taiwan, Rinata Sokrutova. Sokrutova emphasized she really enjoys leading and doing missions as she has done this before three times. She has gone to Guatemala, Russia and her home country Krygyzstan. For her was impactful this weekend retreat because it was like a mini mission trip where she gave time and focus to Jesus in order to prepare for the mission trip as well a good team bonding time in which she really appreciate the purpose of this retreat for a touching ministry. This powerful retreat brought a refreshing message to the Crown students: Be servants for the expansion of Gods kingdom. Crown is preparing future servant leaders to impact this world sending out of both students and faculty/staff members to various countries around the world. These trips have many different goals, but the same vision remains with each team: to share Christ with the nations. Let us pray for this mission trips as we look forward for what God will do in this amazing countries. ###
