SHARING THE PLANET Central idea: Organisms in an ecosystem rely on each other for survival. Using the PYP learner prole attributes and attitude, the Year 3s shared how we can show appreciation and respect for everyone and everything around us. If we combine our positive attitudes with all the skills we are learning (ex. research and thinking skills), we can easily reect on our experiences and take action. We learned from Dukdukdiya, our Action April mascot, that it doesnt matter how small or how big our actions are. What matters is that we do what we can. As we end our Sharing the Planet unit next week, we will focus on how we can use what we know about taking action to be responsible members of our ecosystems.
