1. Rule up correctly and copy these words into your spelling book. Remember date and title your work. 2. Sit with a friend and use a computer to work together to find the correct pronunciation and meaning for your word. Using www.dictionary.com or a similar resource, look up the words, read the definitions and pronunciation guides to help you understand the meanings. With your partner, type up a sentence or meaning to show you have understood the word. Produce one document to show your work, printing it twice so you each have a copy. Stick this into your spelling book. 2. Write each list word again this time in syllables. 3. Word search. Write all 20 of your list words into a word search grid. 4. Words Within words. Choose 5 list words and write the small words contained inside each word. You can also mix up the letters to make new words. 5. Picture words. Choose 5 list words and draw a picture to illustrate each word. 6. Fancy Letters. Choose 5 words to write in fancy letter style. 7. Alphabetical Order. Put the remaining 5 words into alphabetical order.
