    function and determine the degree of damage to the lungs. Spirometry and Peak Flow Meter are the most commonly done lung function tests. Its useful while evaluating a patient with obstructive airway disease. FEV1/FVC ratio < 70% is required for diagnosis of airflow obstruction. Inhalation has been employed as a method for delivering medications for many year. The benefits are delivering medication directly to the affected site, more rapid and more selective effect of the drug in the airways.
