What have we been up to?
This week in math, we continued our unit
on algebra. Students investigated and created
different growing patterns and presented their
posters to the class. We also reviewed and
practiced working with input/output tables.
We started a new theme in reading,
Animal Encounters. We read a story this week
about Grizzly Bears and worked on making
generalizations. Grammar for this week focused on
prefixes and contractions.
Students also finished their reading group
book that we have been reading this month. They
will make a group presentation to the class, trying Michael and Jack on patrol duty Foley, Shaun, EB, and Tommy presenting
