YipeeWeek 3!

Happy September Birthdays!

9/22 Kylie 9/29 - Ms. Bergenhagen

Can you believe we are already on our 3rd week of school? We have had a good start to the school year so far. I want to thank you for that! Thanks for all the work youve done at home to get our friends ready for school. This week we will be looking at Nursery Rhymes and rhyming words in reading. We will also be working on writing and spelling our names. In math we will be working on counting to 10 and shapes. The tricky ones tend to be the rhombus, hexagon, and trapezoid. Feel free to practice these at home. J We will also begin our NWEA testing this week. This is taken on the computer by the students in the computer lab. They listen to a ladies voice prompt them and then they have to click to circle or drag objects/letters to answer questions. There are 2 reading parts and 2 math parts. We started with Reading 1 today. We will take Reading 2 on Thursday (9/19) and Math 1 next Tuesday (9/24) and Math 2 next Friday (9/27).
