Week 11!
Last week we talked about Election Day and we voted on our favorite candy bar
Hersheys and Kit Kat. Kit Kat one by a land slide. We also talked about
different people in our community and started breaking words apart to hear
different sounds. In math we continued to work on teen numbers, how to write
them and how to show how many.
This week we are talking Veterans Day. We will talk about all the people that
help keep our country safe. We will also be working breaking words apart to hear
different sounds in words and looking at different words that rhyme. In math we
are still talking about putting numbers in order 0-20 and writing numbers 0-20.

letters in it & writing it.)

*How to tie your shoes

* The weather has changed and snowpants are beginning to come in. All winter
gear is required once snow is on the ground. We are encouraging students to
bring them in before them due to the cold, but are not required until the snow
falls. Please help your child remember to dress warm enough for the weather
until then. They do continue to go outside everyday for recess unless it is below
zero.
* Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. The easiest
and quickest way to contact me is via email. My email is
mbergenhagen@dgf.k12.mn.us You may also call our classroom. The number
is 218-477-6827. Keep in mind I try not to answer while we are learning. You
may leave a message though and I return your call. You may also set up times
to speak with me before or after school.

Sincerely,
Ms. Bergenhagen
