Bible Corner
Pick-Up & Drop Off

At the beginning of the day, I will meet all of
the K3 students by the front right corner of
the school (near the yellow sign) daily! This
is also where we will wait for parents to
pick-up students after school.

really appreciate the time to talk and get to know all the students and families in our class
this year!
Class Reminders
Your child will receive a Horace Allen
T-Shirt soon. These are a gift from
Parent Council and there are times
throughout the year when your child
will be asked to wear their shirt to
school, such as the upcoming Terry Fox
Walk.

We have Whole School Music on
Fridays from 11:55-12:25 and parents
are welcome to attend. Younger siblings
are also welcome, as long as they are
able to sit quietly and not distract the
class.

Please remember to send your childs
Take Home Folder to school with
him/her daily.

Please be sure to send a note to school in
the blue Take Home Folder to indicate
any changes to busses or pick-up
routines.

We are Learning...
This month, our theme is getting to know all of our new classmates! Here are the skills
we will be practicing:
I can find my name
I can print my first name
I can form recognizable letters
I can share ideas about my drawings

In Math, we will be working on each child gaining the following skills:
I can count to 5
I can build a number (1-5)
I can make a pattern
I can sort objects & tell my rule

We will also be learning about the changes in the seasons from Summer to Fall!

Focus Books: Throughout the month, our lessons will be centered on different stories.
Ask your child about these wonderful books we will be reading!
