Conventions of Advertisement
Includes the different formats of the album, to show the diversity of the product and offer the consumers more choice. .
Album title A central image, often influenced by the genre of the music. Not very often an image of the actual artist. Although fairly discretely placed, a priority on the advertisement.
In my overall research of album release advertisements, I did come across other conventions that do not appear here: Commentary/Reviews. Record label.
Often show the sold out dates of concerts as a marketing strategy, in order to portray that the artist is popular and there is limited tickets available.
