Conventions of an album release advertisement. .

Artist name.

Date of album release.

A central image, often influenced by the genre of the music. In more eccentric genres the image tends not to be of the artist, where as in contrast with artists signed to major record labels, the central image is often of them as a source of promotion. Also I found that in most cases, the original album artwork is used for the central image.

Includes the different formats of the album, to show the diversity of the product and offer the consumers more choice.

Album title Although fairly discretely placed on most advertisements, a priority on the advertisement.

Often show the sold out dates of concerts as a marketing strategy, in order to portray that the artist is popular and there is limited tickets available.
