ALIGNMENT

C e nte r Al ignme nt Click the center button in the formatting toolbar. This selects the Center command. It centers text between the left and right margin.

L e ft Al ignme nt You can align text left, center, right or justified. The default alignment is left. Left alignment means that text is aligned flush with the left margin. Left-aligned text appears ragged right on the page or column, which is warm and readable. Usually, left-alignment is used for conventional and office correspondence.

Jus tif ie d Al ignme nt Justified text spreads text between the left and right margins by expanding or contracting the space between words. Word does not justify the last line of a paragraph with justified text alignment or short lines of text that of text you end by pressing ENTER. Justify text, which has an orderly look, is generally used in multiple columns newsletters, newspaper and magazines.
