What is a consultancy?
Consulting company is a generic term used. By definition, these are firms, which have knowledge about a field/practice they practice in. Typically this knowledge is embedded in the firm through its "Consultants", "Body of knowledge" and "Practices". There are many types of Consulting Companies. (1) Strategy Consultants - help an enterprise to formulate strategies appropriate to its business and implement them. (2) Legal Consultants - help an enterprise to analyze the legal environment of its business, and help formulate and implement Legal strategies related to its business. (3) IT consultants, (4)Finance Consultants & (5) HR Consultants etc do exist.

Ma Foi Management Consultants Ltd., a Randstad company, is an international HR service provider servicing world class companies across the globe. Ma Foi Randstad India is a division of the global Randstad Holding, the worlds second largest HR services company. It is a full spectrum HR services provider for clients worldwide. It provides services in the core area of recruitment and provides Human Resource solutionsSearch, Selection, Staffing, Consulting, Outsourcing and Training. Ma Foi Randstad was setup in India in partnership with the Dutch parent company providing knowledge and expertise in designing recruitment consulting services.

HISTORY OF MA FOI
Ma Foi, Indias largest HR services company was started in 1992. Ma Foi Randstad was setup in India in partnership with the Dutch parent company providing knowledge and expertise in designing recruitment consulting services. It was founded Ma Foi Management Consultants Limited in 1992 with an aim to make it a one-stop shop for all HR needs and provide integrated and professional HR services for clients worldwide. It has played a crucial role in the evolution of the HR Industry in India and has pioneered the concept of HR outsourcing in India.

MISSION OF MA FOI
Within its first 25 years, staffing and HR services had become one of the worlds fastest-growing industries. MARKETING MIX USED BY MA FOI

The most basic concept in marketing THE MARKETING MIX is commonly overlooked by most sellers, communicators and agencies. The careful crafting of the famous 4ps of marketing Product, Price, Place and Promotion is often brushed aside in favor of just doing advertising, which is only one part of the Promotional mix. As marketing strategy consultants, Ma Foi take a comprehensive approach to help their clients, define their marketing mix for improved customer acquisition, retention, satisfaction and market share.

Ma Fois approach is different. They start by understanding the clients business and researching the demand trends in their particular industry. They then identify the growing segments, regions, or products in their industry and analyze the clients product portfolio from a competitive perspective. Once they have completed this evaluation, they help their marketing strategy consulting clients define the goals they need to attain, the positioning they want to achieve, and the message they want to convey. They help their consulting clients develop a marketing strategy and mix that would best achieve their marketing goals. As marketing strategy consultants, they look for the right combination of branding, product portfolio, pricing, distribution, fulfillment, public relations and media advertising strategies.

CONCLUSION
It was really a great experience doing this project. We as a team learned many things regarding how a consultancy works. It was not just another project, we really got a very nice exposure and altogether it was a great learning experience and we as a team tried our level best to make this project a success
