women through their lyrics and it wouldnt appeal to men as much as it is quite emotive. O It would particular appeal to people who have experienced a form of heartbreak making it universal.

O When thinking of how we were going to

make this video, one of the first music videos we thought of was The A team, mainly because of the use of black and white, which is a typical convention of songs that have a sad theme to them. O Also, in our opinion, it makes it seem more professional O Black and white makes it timeless

One room
O Although were not thinking of using only

one room for filming, we thought we might film most of the video there. O If we focus all of our attention on that one room, we can get many shots done, which would be very useful for the editing stage. O Also we wanted to use one room so that we could mix the narrative together with the performance; this means having the artist and the characters of the story in one scene.
