When dealing with spies it is very important that not everyone knows you’re a spy.
It is a SECRET. That is why this song is the opener. It is as if we’re telling the
audience we have a secret and we’re going to give it to you.

Contrasting Style/Character Piece
Secret Agent Man, Johnny Rivers

Since the theme of the show is spies, it makes sense to have this song next. It
introduces the theme and also is a contrasting piece from the opener. It’s also a
really fun song for the band as well as the choir.

Skyfall, Adele

This song is from James Bond and is commonly associated with spies. Since
it is a pretty song with a slower tempo I think it would be an excellent ballad
especially if we add harmonies and dynamics.

Golden Eye, Tina Turner

I believe this song has an excellent opportunity for a soloist. This solo would allow
for the rest of the choir to change their costumes. This song also has a sense of
mystery and suspense that I think ties well with the spy theme.

This song is a high energy song that I feel like contains things a spy would be
willing to do. I also feel like a popular song at the end of a show gets the hype as
well as the audience and should provide a strong ending to the show.

I feel like this show has music that will be really fun to perform for both the choir
and show band. I also feel like the costumes will be fun as well. I feel like the male
props would be a funny and cool feature that will captivate the audience. Lastly I
feel like if we clean it and execute it well it will be a crowd/ judge favorite. I feel like
the choir will really take it and make it their own.
