OBJECTIVES
To enable pupils to: Master the Scientific Skills which includes; - Science Process Skills (SPS) - Science Manipulative Skills (SMS) Strengthen the knowledge and understanding on the theories and concepts in science. Inculcate the Scientific Attitudes and Noble Values
INSTRUMENTS
Practical work and report Field trip Class-room activities(eg. simulation, role play) Folio Project Scrap book Check-list Models
Assessment should be formative and continuous. Pupils are encouraged to acquire knowledge and experience all the time Pupils are given opportunity to improve their work and the score that they obtained Evidence produced by the pupils should be kept for the purpose of coordination.
SCORE
The maximum total score = 50 i.e 30 marks for SPS 20 marks for SMS Scores are awarded according to the Scoring scheme.

SPS 1 : OBSERVING: Observing involves the sense of sight, hearing, smell, touch and
taste to collect information of an object and phenomenon. Sometimes, observing also involves quantitative measurement. Observing is part of an investigation process which has specific aim.
SCORE C1
CRITERIA
REMARK
- State the properties of objects and situations Suggested correctly using any of the five senses. Activity: - State the properties of objects and situations correctly using appropriate tools to assist the senses. - State the properties of objects and situations based on the sequences occurred. - C1and C2 Field trip Experiment Project eg. 3/1/1.1/4 3/1/1.2/1 3/1/2.1/4 3/2/6.1/1 4/1/3.2/1&2 4/1/3.4/1&2 4/1/3.5/2&5 5/1/1.1/3 6/1/1.1/1-6 6/1/1.2/1
