Projection Students are familiar with light art from holiday light mapping? shows, lighting desing, etc. How can I incorporate light (electric and solar) into a sculpture in dynamic ways? How can I make a balanced sculpture? How can I use technology with a light sculpture? WEDNESDAY 11/6 Learning TargetTSW learn how various artists have used light in sculpture and will generate ideas for his/her own art piece. TSW know this when he/she has a sketch for a light sculpture. THURSDAY 11/7 Learning Target- TSW learn how to use different types of lights for sculpture. TSW know this when he/she has chosen an appropriate light to use for his/her sculpture. FRIDAY 11/8 Learning Target- TSW learn how to create a balanced sculpture that is balanced in color and form. TSW know this when the sculpture can be flipped on each side and still appears balanced. MONDAY 11/11TSW learn how to carefully construct a sculpture incorporation light. TSW know this when the light is attached carefully. TUESDAY 11/12 Learning Target- TSW learn how to be sure light scupture is unified. TSW know this when his/her piece has differing elements that come together as one. WEDNESDAY 11/13 Learning TargetTSW learn how to add a focal point to his/her light sculpture. TSW know this when his/her piece creates a place to focus either through color, form or visual contrast. THURSDAY 11/14TSW learn to refine his/her piece based on peer feedback. TSW know this when he/she has incorporated feedback from his/her peer into final piece. FRIDAY 11/15 TargetTSW learn how to participate effectively in a critique. He/she will know this when he/she makes several strong constructive comments.
