What did you learn about lifelong wellness from taking this activity class? Ive learned that fitness isnt just about pushing yourself and trying to do more. It is also about the opposite. Recovery, care, and consciousness are all essential components of having lifelong wellness. 2. How would you apply this information to your life? Id take more time for myself to reduce stress. Id treat my body like less of a machine that is supposed to produce results, and more like something that is living and needs to be treated well. I think the importance of taking care of your body is often overlooked. 3. What is your intention to continue to exercise in your life and why? Ive been pretty active for most of my life, but I often neglected my body and pushed it beyond its limits. Im going to continue to take time to recover and focus on what body tells me. Ive been reminded of the importance of that in this class. 4. General ideas for improving this course? Overall, I thought the course was great. My only suggestion would be to try to find time for more one-on-one coaching.
