Listening (20 marks) 2. Speaking (20 marks) Duration 30-40 minutes Class All sections of class IX 8-10 minutes for each pair IX A, IX E and IX G of students IX B, IX C and IX F IX D and IX H Date 11.12.2013 12.12. 2013 13.12. 2013 16.12. 2013

Instructions: 1. The students must bring a writing board to enable them to place their answer sheets for the Assessment of Listening. 2. Each student can choose one topic from the following for Assessment of Speaking: People, Adventure, Environment, Mystery, Children, Sports and Games, Money, Culture, Music, Art and Craft, House and home, Travel and Tourism, Humour, Wisdom, History and Legend, Science and the Future, Hobbies and Interest, Fashion.

3. The Assessment of Speaking will be conducted in the following way: Stage- 1 : INTRODUCTION (1 minute). Stage -2 : TOPIC PRESENTATION (5 minutes) Stage -3 : PROBLEM SOLVING (4 minutes) Kindly note that as no re-exam is permissible under CBSE notification, attendance is mandatory for the students on the days of the assessment.
