A Cheerful Autumn

Festival at
Hristo Yassenov Secondary School

October 2013

Colourful pathways paved with leaves and scarlet apples, as sweet as honey, heavy grapes and birds flying away to the warm countries. Can you guess what season it is? No doubt- its autumn!

Autumn is the most beautiful, richest in colours and fertility season of all. We, Bulgarians, have lots of traditions to celebrate it because it is the time when people reap what they have sowed and get ready for the coming winter

The children had been looking forward to it for almost a month. They had produced a lot of wonderful items and applications of natural materials and arranged an exhibition. The gifts of autumn were used for a culinary exposition, too. The delicious sandwiches were made by the students with some help from their parents.

The pupils recited poems about autumn, sang songs and danced.

They solved puzzles and did crosswords.
