OUR DIARY

We, the students of 4th grade, want to introduce you to our diary which reflects our schools relations with the community in the period 2.12.2013 - 6.12.2013. It was very interesting to be able to interview the Principal of the school, the secretary, the bursar, some of our coaches and instructors. We visited the Post Office, the Bank, the town-hall and the community centre. It has been a very interesting week for us!

Monday - 2.12.2013
We 4th grade students met with the head teacher of the school Svetla Valova. We discussed her upcoming meetings. We understood that Mrs. Valova will have a discussion with the deputy mayor of the municipality regarding the participation of the volleyball team of the school in the world championship in Portugal. We talked also about how the school is preparing for the upcoming Christmas holidays.

The post is collected from the Post Office every working day by the school secretary.

Tuesday - 3.12.2013
Every month we are visited by professional musicians under the Fortissimo programme and they introduce us to different musical instruments. This week we met with Victoria Ivanova and she presented to us the Contrabass.

Tuesday - 3.12.2013
For the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 3rd December, we painted pictures and organized an art exhibition. The best 12 works were awarded by the head teacher. This was a common initiative of our school and the Centre of Inclusive Education.

Wednesday - 4.12.2013
Twice a week we go to folk dance classes, led by the choreographer Kalinka Pushkarova at the Community Centre Todor Peev.

Wednesday - 4.12.2013
All financial operations of the school are carried out by the Central Cooperative Bank. On Wednesday we visited the bank and met with bank officers.

Thursday - 5.12.2013
Every Tuesday and Thursday we receive fresh fruit under the School Fruit Programme.

We are very happy to be able to swim in the school swimming pool, where our swimming instructor Mr. Vasilev trains us and makes sure that we are safe.

Friday - 6.12.2013
Our school is visited by three foreign students from Brazil and Ukraine. We will be able to communicate with them, to learn more about their countries and culture and to practice our English. They will be staying with us for approximately two months.

Friday - 6.12.2013
Friday is the day the waste collectors come to school to collect the schools waste with their vehicle. We checked- well they had done their job.
