    On 29th August 2013 I visited at OPA Abdullah Lashari and Hawaldar Brohi UC Dasti to verify status of OPA and CRF. Mr. Mustafa Qadir Project officer (Helpage) was with me during field visit.

    Observations
    OPA Abdullah Lashari
    Eight members from OPA participated in a meeting, remaining were busy in their routine work. There are 60 members in general body and 8 executive body. CIF is given to 57 members and all members clear their dues timely with 300 service charges. Members use to deposit their dues on monthly installment basis (each month Rs. 1000). 3rd cycle of CRF was observed in this OPA Routine meetings are conducted fortnightly on different agendas and also each member deposit Rs. 50 as a saving in each meeting. An internal landing practice was observed in this OPA. Members were having satisfactory knowledge about, SRSO, Helpage, OPA and CRF purpose. Following documents are maintained at field level.     We conducted meeting with President and General Secretary of OPA, and discussed the status of CRF, according to them that 37 member have received CRF, from them most of the members have migrated to Quata for earning purpose and all will return at the end of October 2013. CRF is due but 17 members have returned only 1st installment each Rs 1000 total Rs.17000. as per the statement of president that (members could not deposited amount on time due to migration, rain flood and financial crises. But in September 2013, they will conduct OPA meeting with agenda of CRF recovery.) Meetings and savings are irregular in this OPA

    Suggestions
    I. Fielder officers are suggested give follow up for OPA meeting and ensure the participation of all OPA members in a coming meeting. Participation of field staff, M&E and project officer is important in this meeting. Field officers are suggested to increase frequency of field visit in this OPA at least two to three times in a month. Motivate OPA regarding timely routine meetings and saving. Also ask OPA to share CRF recovery plan and strategy
