Concern Australias HAND BRAKE TURN


Starts 20th January 2014
to 28 February 2014 (followed by 2 weeks compulsory work experience)
Hand Brake Turn is an 8-week, competency-based, full-time Automotive Training course, in basic Spray Painting, Panel Beating, Motor Mechanics, including Job Search Training followed by 13 weeks job search support and a further 13 weeks of post placement support which is a requirement of the ACCESS program. Students will obtain a Statement of Attainment in Certificate 2 Vehicle Body Repair Technology Students will have assistance in gaining employment and Apprenticeships/Traineeships in the automotive industry. Eligible participants receive free training.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Aged between 15-25 yrs (15yrs olds are subject to term and conditions) Needs Basic Literacy and Numeracy Skills Must have a willingness to learn & a desire to work towards an apprenticeship/employment Must have a genuine interest in the Automotive Industry Has not participated in an ACCESS program in the last 12 months
