Eliminate Long Lines at Cafés

I want to eliminate long lines at cafés. The solution is to let customers bypass the lines
by wirelessly placing their orders using their laptops. I will use the money to develop
and deploy the technology in my café.

The process is simple. You walk in the café and connect to their secure internal website
using your laptop (or other WiFi device). Then, you login to your account, peruse the
menu, select your desired items, specify your seat, and pay using your credit card. All
personal and payment information can be remembered in your login, which can make
ordering as simple as one click. The kitchen is directly notified, and your food arrives
shortly to your table.

Wireless ordering is only the beginning. Customers can view forums to see opinions on
the food. Past orders can also be tracked, and entrees can be suggested based on
preferences. Eventually, customers will be able to reserve a seat and order their food
even before coming to the café.

In turn, this system benefits both parties. The customers get less wait time, and the
restaurant gets a higher customer turn around. Crowds at the front counter will be a thing
of the past.
