When I say all in one, a software that will help me to keep tabs on my cabin when it comes to bookings, room availability, reservation, payment setup and even on food and beverages directory. Technology like solar panels is good for this kind of lodging since it is in the middle of nature. With this kind of technology, it can save electricity consumption and placing wires and outlets will not become challenging. The channel that I will be using is social media because it is constantly and regularly used by people to look for things they want, people are always on them that’s why everything posted in social media can spread rapidly. b. These are the three things that every businessman should consider that satisfies a customer; price, quality and convenience. Price and quality is quite easy to achieve while convenience is not that easy to "master" or to stay "consistent". Food industry businesses are booming today, even if there is a pandemic, restaurants and cafes are still open to provide service to their customers. Even before the pandemic, there are already mobile apps or technologies that are used in the food business industry. Due to COVID-19 these mobile apps and technologies become frequently or habitually used by the customer whenever they want to order foods/beverages from their favorite restaurants/cafes. In order to have a continuous transaction or "relationship" to their customers, some restaurant and cafe owners use mobile apps to retain this "customer-seller" relationship. Here are some of the ways that restaurants/cafes can use mobile apps to show connection to their customers. First is having an online reservation slot, it provides convenience to the customer since there is already a table/slot for them once they arrive at that restaurant/cafe. Next would be digital menu cards that show the menus available and their prices. This will help the customer to have different options of foods they can choose from. There is also an online food delivery service that provides convenience to the customers since they do not need to step out from their home just to eat outside and satisfy their cravings (eg. Grabfood, Foodpanda, Jollibee and McDo delivery apps etc.) These mobile apps help to enhance the customer experience that can lead them to become happy and loyal customers. c. I visited Pizza Streat yesterday with my mom. I asked the store’s manager what POS they have. It’s the same with supermarket cashiers, it's like a desktop computer, with keyboard and mouse and a cash drawer. They also have a small printer for the receipts. Credit card reader is also available to them but she told me that it is rarely used. They also have this calling pager system, it blinks in red once your order is ready to pick up. Some branches doesn’t have this pager system.
