I. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Maymill Food Truck Trading is a start-up business of Mr. Sebastian Levin Louise A.
Raqueno, it is located in Quezon, City Philippines. It is a sole proprietorship form of
business because only one person can operate this business and that is the owner of
the business. Maymill Food Truck Trading expect that they will be the number one and
leading brand in terms of mobile food truck business here in the Philippines and also
this food truck trading provides a high quality foods because the ingredients used in
making the foods are natural that came from Happy Veggies Fruit and Vegetables
Supplier that also located in Quezon City, Philippines. The employees of Maymill Food
Truck Trading and even the owner have core value because this business will lead to
success.
Maymill offer a lots of food such as Mexican Filipino mixed dishes like Burrito-styled-
lumpia, Taco Liempo and Chicken with Kesong Puti Quesadilla it also includes desserts
like Banana Pudding, Carrot Cake and Ice Cream Cake. Maymill Food Truck Trading
assures that the foods they will offer is 100% fresh because it is not using any artificial
chemicals like ethepon, it is a plant growth regulator. It is also healthy and brings
satisfaction to our beloved customers coming from our target market which is in District
2 Manggahan, Commonwealth Quezon, City.

The name of the of the company is Maymill Food Truck Trading founded by
Sebastian Levin Louise A. Raqueno in 2018, it is located in Quezon City, Philippines.

Mr. Raqueno abruptly decides to introduce the products to the market and then
named the business of Maymill Food Truck Trading. Afterwads, Mr. Raqueno thinks of
where the store can place, then Mr Raqueno found his truck very spacious, He put all
his kitchen stuff at the truck and made it a food truck. Then he thinks of the people who
don’t have time to cook for themselves as his targert market. He visualized his food
truck to be eye-catching for the target market and the place where his food truck is
standing must be in a street or road where it is easy to go for his target market.

Mr. Raqueno believes that Quezon City, District 2, Manggahan Commonwealth is


the perfect place for his business because it is modernized and many people are
working in the said city. Then he chose those busy working people to be his target
market. After finalizing his idea, he printed a menu for his food truck business. The

After doing the menu, Mr. Raqueno hired some people to help him operate his
business. He critically choose the persons who reached the standards for a certain job,
for them to do the assigned task efficiently and effectively.

To become the number one and leading brand in mobile food truck business in

To maintain the quality of the products and continually improve the services, exceed
expectations and needs of the customers. The Maymill Food Truck Trading aims to gain
reasonable return or profit by serving healthy, affordable, local food on-the-go. The food
truck will be catering specifically to the working people around District 2, Manggahan
Commonwealth Quezon City, Philippines.

The Maymill Food Truck Trading assures that the pineapple juice is 100% made
of fresh pineapple from Happy Veggies and Vegetable also. The chocolate drink and
iced tea is safe to drink because the water being used while making the chocolate drink
and iced tea is came from the Wilkins Company and the softdrinks is being inspected to
sure that it is safe to drink.

The ingredients in this product are safe for the customer’s health. The bananas and
carrots came from Happy Veggies Fruits and Vegetables Supplier located in Quezon
City wherein they are naturally fresh and free from man-made fertilizers, pesticides,
growth regulator and livestock food additives. The ice cream cake has a variety of
flavors such as vanilla, chocolate caramel, chocolate chip, cookie and mango
graham.

 DISTRIBUTION NETWORK
Distribution Network is not present due to product wil be distributed from producer to
consumer. The Maymill Food Truck Trading itself is the producer and they will just sell
their foods directly to the consumer without the help of marketing intermediaries. It is
distributed directly to the consumer because it is just a Food Truck business and the
food truck itself will just directly reach out the consumers especially in the District,
Manggahan Commonwealth, Quezon City.

Manggahan Commonwealth. It is a Network Structure because it is a single function
that work together to produce the company product and service. It is capable of doing
the own specialized of the company activities independently like producing distributing
and designing but capable of working effectively at the same time with other network
members. For a small business like Maymill Food Truck, they only have one truck
because it is just a starting business of Mr. Raqueno.

business owners is that understand the importance of the team that the owner will
be working with and as such will conduct.

 Manager
Manager is the one who charge in the employees and the facilities they work for.
The job of the manager is to plan and promote the daily schedule of employees and the
business, interview, hire and coordinate the employees, create and maintain budgets.
Manager should a leadership skills for keeping the employees motivated and resolve
conflicts. Manager do a lot of communicating. This might be one-on-one to a customer,
in front of a group of employees, or in meeting with management, might be called upon
to write reports, recommendation or reasons for termination. Great verbal
communications and writing skills will help in any of these scenarios.

 Food Truck Cook


Cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking well prepared meals. Cook
must be set up workstations with all need ingredients and cooking equipment, prepare
ingredients to use in cooking properly, ensure great presentation by dressing dishes
before they are served. The one who keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the
kitchen and cook is the one who monitor stock and place orders when there are
shortages.

 Food Truck Cashier


Cashier is one who process all cash transactions accurately and efficiently in
accordance with established policies and procedures. Duties and responsibilities of the
cashier will include greetingcustomers, maintaining a clean checkout area and keeping

 Food Truck Server


Servers are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a
friendly and efficient manner and play an integral role in ensuring customers have
exceptionnal dining experiences. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to the
guests needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.

 Food Truck Driver


The food truck driver is responsible for the safety of the workers and employees
that are inside the food truck and responsible to drive very carefully because of the
foods and drinks that are in the food truck. Also the food truck responsibilities is to
check the vehicle condition before and after of duties.

REQUIREMENTS FOR FOOD TRUCK MANAGER

 Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or a


departmentally related field.
 A minimum of three years of responsible leadership experiences in
management or supervisory positions.

 2 years’ experience as a Cook in the fast food chain industry.

Before Maymill Food Truck Trading serve and launch their main food which is the
burrito-styled-lumpia, they conducted a research about to their population which is

the Quezon City, specifically in District 2 Manggahan Commonwealth, Quezon City. If


the expected number of customers is achieved, the business would have an ₱35,000
per week included the saturday and sunday and would have a ₱1,800,000 in the end of
the year.

Buritto-styled-lumpia is a main menu of Maymill Food Truck Trading. It is a
combination of mexican dish (burrito) and filipino dish (lumpia). Our product is not only
delicious but it is also affordable since the price only ₱70.00. It is also innovative than
the other food products because of the combination between two dishes that has a
completely different culture and tradition. Maymill Food Truck Trading are also planning
to add more items in menu, such as taco liempo, chicken with kesong puti quesadillas.
In dessert are banana pudding, carrot cake and ice cream cake. In drinks, chocolate
drink, softdrinks, iced tea and pineapple juice in order to gain more customers.

The Maymil Food Truck Trading owner decided to make this product to be on their
main dishes, because they want to show that, combining two or more famous cuisines
from Mexico and Philippines with different culture and tradition are possible and it is still
delicious and healthy at the same time. The product level of the Maymill Food Truck
Trading can be classified as actual or formal because they will purchase the products of
Maymill because they need and want it.

In distributing the products, Maymill Food Truck Trading used the strategy called
intensive distribution. It is spread the products by mobile food truck to the assigned
routes in Quezon City specifically in Commonwealth Avenue under district 2 to achieve
the goal as soon as possible but without a hurry. Within each area where the products is
located, Maymill Food Truck Trading sure that the place is comfortable and always talk

D. ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL STRATEGY
In advertising, Maymill Food Truck Trading will put up posters in the target area.
Since social media is one of the factors for a quick widespread of news or events,
Maymill Food Truck Trading created a Faceboook page in order to advertise and give
information about the business that can bring a lots of customers in the present and in
the near future. In promotion, Maymill planned to make a “buy 1 take 1” in the main
product item which is the burrito-styled-lumpia for two weeks. In the first day of the

opening, Maymill Food Truck Trading will give one free any of the products to the first
100 customers that buy more than ₱150.00
