D. Production Process and Controls that will be used to manufacture the product
Below are the steps on how to make a Banana fries:
Step 1:
o Peel the ripe bananas and rinse them under cold water. Pat them dry with a paper towel. Cut each banana into
1/2-inch to 1-inch thick slices, trying to maintain consistent thickness for even cooking.
Step 2:
o Heat the oil and pour enough oil into your frying vessel to reach a depth of about 1-2 inches. Heat the oil over
medium-high heat until it reaches a temperature of 350°F (175°C). You can use a deep fryer or a heavy-bottomed
pan with high sides, like a cast-iron skillet.
Step 3:
o Fry the banana slices carefully place the banana slices into the hot oil, being cautious not to overcrowd the pan.
Fry in batches if necessary. Cook the banana slices for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden
brown and crispy.
Step 4:
o Drain and pack using a slotted spoon, carefully remove the fried banana fries from the oil and transfer them to
a paper towel-lined plate or wire rack to drain any excess oil and pack it on a banana leaf.
Step 1:
o Select fresh kalamansi and choose ripe juicy lemons with smooth firm skin that gives slightly when pressed.
Step 2:
o Wash the kalamansi and rinse the lemons under running water to remove any dirt, bacteria, or residues on the
surface.
Step 3:
o Cut the kalamansi in half crosswise, ensuring you have enough halves to yield the desired amount of juice.
Step 4:
o Extract the juice and squeeze the kalamansi halves using a lemon squeezer, citrus press, or your hands to
release the juice. You can also use a citrus juicer for more efficient extraction.
Step 5:
o Strain the juice and pour the extracted kalamansi juice through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove
any seeds and pulp, resulting in a clear juice.
Step 6:
o Store the juice and transfer the strained kalamansi juice into a clean container or bottle, and store it in the
refrigerator to keep it fresh and finally prepare it for selling.
E. Distribution Logistics
Snacksism has a new way of distributing our yummy food products around the campus. Instead of just
staying in the cafeteria, we now have a roaming distribution system! This means that our food products, banana
fries and kalamansi juice, are brought directly to the customers wherever they are on the school campus.
The distribution process will be during recess time. Our food delivery team prepares all the products in our room.
They pack everything up in bags and load them onto our big tupper wares. During the recess and noon breaks, the
team roams around the school, stopping by classrooms, offices, and even the outdoor areas.
When they arrive at each location, they set up a mini food stand with all the products neatly displayed. Students
can then easily choose and purchase their favorite items without having to walk all the way to the cafeteria. This
makes getting a delicious snack or meal quick and convenient.
The roaming distribution system has been a hit among students because it saves time and makes it easier to grab a
bite to eat. Plus, it’s fun to see the food cart pop up in unexpected places around the campus. We’re loving this new
way of getting our food products and can’t wait to see what other exciting changes are in store for us in the future.
F.Regulatory and Other Compliance Issues
As a responsible company, Snacksism must ask and comply with the school principal of Ramon Magsaysay
National High School (RMNHS), Mr. Wilfredo A. Sobretodo, for the permission to sell the products inside of the
school campus.
Posters- Posters will be used as a medium for delivering and informing students about our products. Posters
are highly visible and can grab the attention of passersby. Using posters can increase the spread of information
about our product.
Sales Strategy:
Snacksism will use a variety of sales strategies. Customers prefer to buy things at their convenience.
Snacksism will make sure that buying our products is easy and fun. To make this a reality, we will create a
Facebook page where students can order our products. The payment process will be cash on delivery. In this way,
students no longer need to go outside just to buy our products.
In addition, Snacksism will also roam around the school campus so that the students who do not have any
internet connection or absence of phones can still enjoy our products.
Furthermore, in today's age, digital payment is already accessible. By doing so, customers can now choose
different ways to pay. Snacksism will make this a reality by using different digital payment apps. Snacksism will
use Gcash and Pay Maya as payment options.
All of these sales strategies will make buying our products easy and fun.
