INTRODUCTION
Most Filipinos have taken a natural liking for sweets. Want to know why? It is
because the taste of sweetness is the ultimate comfort food for a lot of Filipinos. And to
say that we Filipinos have a sweet tooth is an understatement for the reason that every
region in the Philippines has its own sweet dessert recipe to brag about.
One of these desserts that Filipinos always love to eat is the Philippine version of
European crème caramel, leche flan. Made with egg yolks, evaporated milk and
sweetened condensed milk, Filipino leche flan is a rich steamed custard with a syrupy
caramel. Leche flan was brought to the Philippines at the time when the Spaniards
colonized the country in 16th century. It is considered by many as one of the “sweetest”
contribution of Spain to Philippine cuisine. As compared to European crème caramel
and Spanish original flan, Filipino leche flan is much heavier version because of the
presence of more egg yolks and condensed milk.
Moreover, leche flan is one of the most popular and most requested desserts
during celebrations such as parties, town fiestas, festive celebrations, and on special
holidays like Christmas and New Year’s Eve. It is a total favorite!

subject Work Immersion, Flan It! will strive to be the best leche flan store in the
Philippines. The owner want his customers to have the total essence and sensation of
the innovation of his leche flans. Flan It! seeks to be the most successful leche flan store
in the country.
Objectives
To make leche flan in a more exciting and creative way;
To introduce a product that is common but also new to the eyes of the customers;
To introduce a product to the market through advertising and promoting it with
the use of social media;
To establish a high introductory sale by lowering the regular price by 5-10 pesos
to attract more customers in the first day;
To seek strategies to improve and develop the internal processes;
To build strong customer relationship through satisfying them with our service
and product offerings.

The business encompasses a variety of people including the young, middle aged,
and old. It targets all people sharing similar behavioral patterns and reasons for
supporting Flan It! But the main target customers of this business are the students near
where the store is located, students who want to have a sweet treat at a reasonable price.

Production Schedule
This business accepts orders and for the starting production, there is only a
weekly production of the said product. The products will be made on the weekends
dependent on the amount of orders of the customers. When daily production is already
possible, the business will be expected to operate from 8:00AM to 3:00PM on Mondays
to Fridays considering the amount of leche flans that have been made. Flan It! will make
the leche flans with oddly delicious and nutritious flavors.

Since this only represents the minimum sales production, the table presents an
equal amount of money in all the weeks in a month. This is due to the fact that the sales
of the products are dependent to the number of orders of the customers.
