An old age home refers to a multi-residence nursing home for golden aged people. The usual place where the old people who have no one to look after them is an old age home. It is a place for old people where they are provided all the facilities for their route line living such as food, clothing and shelter. These are also known as retirement homes. These homes are established to spread their services.

There is no doubt that the relationships are the price less treasure that we can acquire. As our parents reach their old age we have to take more care for their requirements. Old age home is a last resort for emotional, psychological and physical care. It is emerged as an unavoidable facility.

All the old age homes provide the facility of physical, psychological and medical support which they need. It puts them in a good social environment. If you strictly believe that you could not take care of your parents in an efficient way then always approach an old age home as soon as possible. Let them find a place where they can live comfortably.

At present 728 old age homes are there in India. In that 547 are accessible. Among these 325 do not charge and 95 charge. 116 are both with charge and without charge. 11 homes are not available. 278 are for ailing people. 101 are for women. Kerala has the highest number of homes. They have a calm and peaceful environment. They provide a healthy life. OLD AGE HOMES give a very peaceful and healthy life to its people.
