AVHAN The AVHAN disaster management camp was organized by the solapur university,solapur from 6 to 15th june 2011.

We boarded the Siddheshwar express train from CST at 10.45pm.we reached Solapur university in the morning and we were allotted rooms in the girls hostel according to our districts.

The inauguration prgramme was organized at 4.30 pm by the Solapur university.the dignities present were Mr.promod Paberekar,Dr.valikar vice chancellor of Karnataka university,mr.hari kumar(ndrf),babasahebji bandger solapur,mr.arikhji sheikh(mayor). On the last day of the camp a closing ceremony was organized .every participant was given a batch and momento and certificates.it was agreat experience to be a part of avhan.all the sessions as well as the moral lectures during the evening session were encouraging.all the arrangements of accommodation and food was very good.Thanks to the solapur university and NDRF officers for organizing this camp.and last but not the least without the support and encouragement of my college IFS and the faculty this camp would not have been possible.
