    Rivera F1 is an adapted jalapeno pepper variety for open field cultivation. It has very high yields of large, dark green, shiny fruits that are uniform in size. The plants have good vigor and foliage cover that protects the fruits well. The peppers have medium pungency and resistances to Bacterial Leaf Spot races 1, 2, and 3. Technical recommendations are provided but success depends on additional factors beyond the seed.
