    The circulatory system is the process of blood flowing throughout the body through the heart, arteries, veins and capillaries. Oxygen-poor blood enters the right atrium of the heart and is then pumped into the pulmonary artery to the lungs to receive oxygen, before returning to the left side of the heart and being pumped through the body's arteries and capillaries to deliver oxygen to tissues, then returning to the heart through veins. A healthy lifestyle without smoking or lack of exercise helps maintain a healthy circulatory system and reduces risks of heart attacks or liver damage.
