Shared Norms for Providing EC Mods

For Teachers Sending Students to Another Classroom to Receive EC Mods: -- Send a quick heads-up email to teachers providing EC modifications when you are planning to send your students to them. This will let teachers providing modifications know when to expect your students. Ideally, this email would be sent the day before rather than the day of. -- Send students to receive their modifications with a signed, dated, and time-stamped note. -- Direct students to go straight to Mrs. Jones class...no detours.

For Teachers Providing EC Modifications in their Classrooms: -- Record the time each student arrives and the time each student leaves your room. A good place to write this would be on their actual assessment or work product. -- Secure assessments somehow--put them in an envelope, fold in half and staple the edges, keep them yourself and put them in the teachers box--to prevent kids from comparing answers while en route.
