    Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC) Endorses James Mousalimas for County Superintendent of Schools
    PORAC is the largest Law Enforcement Organization in California, representing over 64,000 Law Enforcement personnel Statewide

    Stockton- James Mousalimas, current Deputy Superintendent of the San Joaquin County Office of Education, today announced that the Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC) has endorsed his campaign to become San Joaquin Countys next Superintendent of Schools. The latest endorsement adds to the Mousalimas Campaigns law enforcement credentials, having already received endorsements of the San Joaquin County Deputy Sheriffs Association and the Stockton Police Officers Association.

    "PORAC is excited to join the San Joaquin Deputy Sheriff's Association and the Stockton Police Officers Association in endorsing James Mousalimas for San Joaquin County Superintendent of Schools. said PORAC- Valley Chapter President Steve Walker. His 28 years of experience as a teacher and administrator give James the knowledge and background to be the perfect partner with law enforcement in making sure our schools and classrooms stay as safe as possible." PORAC joins a growing list of endorsements for Mousalimas, including Former State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack OConnell, along with County Supervisors Steve Bestolarides, Carlos Villapudua and Ken Vogel. Along with being a long time county educator, James Mousalimas also sits on the board of the Community Partnership for Families and serves as Vice-Chair of the Measure S Oversight Committee. A former Peace Corps volunteer and graduate of UC Berkeley, the College of New Jersey and CSU Stanislaus, James is married to his wife of 24 years. Together they have three children, all of whom attended, or currently attend, local public schools.
