Chilled Cherry Soup

A recipe from Hungary. This pink soup gets more nourishing with the addition of cherry seeds.

Ingredients 1 teacup fresh cherries 1 1/2 teacups thick yoghurt juice of 1 lemon 2 to 3 teaspoons sugar 2 sticks cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon lemon rind Method Remo e the stones from the cherries. !lend the cherries" yoghurt and lemon juice together in a #lender. !reak the stones and take out the seeds. %i& the cherry seeds" sugar" cinnamon and lemon rind with 3 ta#lespoons of water. !oil the mi&ture for 1 minute and add to the soup mi&ture. )ool" add a little water if the soup is too thick and put to chill. *er e chilled.
