Students will create a poster with examples of renewable and non-renewable resources and which resource they would want to run their school with

Materials: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Science Textbook pg. C-40 WB page 135 or 139 Poster Board Pictures of Renewable and Non-Renewable resources for posters Document Elmo Camera Crayons, Colored pencils, Markers

Procedures: 1. During I.E block we will read together the textbook on the document camera 2. We will stop and discuss difficult words and interesting facts while we are reading together. 3. If we have time we will do the WB Pg. 135 or 139, If we do not have time we will do this right when science period starts 4. Students will Finish the wb page first thing at science period 5. Then I will explain how we will be getting into groups and creating a poster of renewable and non renewable resources for energy (show my model) 6. Have students work together on their posters while I monitor 7. We will display these outside

8. If there is time I will have students start decorating their solar cookers. If there is no time then I will have them decorate them tomorrow on the solar cooker day
