Rush around the Hill.

YOUR TEAMS TASK:


Your team is to work together to find locations around Sovereign Hill and complete the challenges outlined below. Each challenge requires photographic evidence that it has been completed. Read the challenges carefully.

TO WIN:
The team with the best photographic evidence of completed challenges wins. Points are awarded for each photograph and deducted for each transgression of the rules.

RULES:
STRICTLY NO RUNNING YOU MUST SHOW RESPECT TO OTHER VISITORS AND SOVEREIGN HILL STAFF NO PART OF THE GAME CAN BE SABOTAGED, OBJECTS MOVED OR ALTERED CHALLENGES CAN BE DONE IN ANY ORDER AND YOUR TEAM MAY DECIDE TO SLIT UP TO COMPLETE THE CHALLENGES QUICKER. CHALLENGES:
Resourcefulness
1. There was no time for fun on the goldfields or was there? Take photos of at least two ways that peopled entertained themselves in the old Days 2. All team members must bowl a strike at the Bowling Saloon. There is a Sovereign Hill staff member there Take a photo with the staff member giving the secret signal to prove you have bowled a strike after achieving a Strike. 3.Your mine is filling with water. 4.Find the Wheelwrights where the highly skilled art of constructing wheels and carriages is still practised Go to the open courtyard area and find the exploding wheel. (All the timber

parts of a wheel) Your team is to assemble the wheel correctly and then take a photo. Disassemble the wheel when finished. Cryptic clue: The pattern of a wheel is round but sometimes it is square then triangle. 5. There were no Health and Safety laws in 1850. Take a photo of the hottest place at Sovereign Hill. Cryptic clue: Boiling hot water will produce steam 6.Take a photo of the worst place to work in the old days be prepared to justify yourself

Survival
7.Flies! (An extra point if you can photograph a fly!) 8.Take photos of the best and worst places to sleep. Points

Wealth
11. Gold is why Ballarat exists. Take a photo of one team member holding REAL gold 12. Showing off. What would you spend your money on if you were rich? Take a photo of how you would display your wealth
