wheel axle onto a plain surface and
bring down heavy loads on it.
Question/s:
• What are simple machines?
• How simple machines do make work
easier and faster?
• Cite some examples of an simple
machine that you see in your home.
How does an inclined work as a
simple machine?
An inclined plane is a simple machine that
consist of a sloping surface connecting a
lower elevation to a higher elevation. It is
used to move easily to higher elevation.
Less force is needed to move an object
uphill with an inclined plane, but the force
must be applied over a greater distance.
