7 Things Students Want to Know: Am I in the right room?

My name and grade level will be on the door. I will be at the door with a smile on my fa e greeting students with high fives. !n a bulletin board outside the lassroom" there will be a #a#er boo$ with ea h students name on it.

Where am I su##osed to sit?


%a h des$ will have a name tag on it along with a name tags on the ubbies. Students will be in grou#s of four and will wor$ as a team for various lass a tivities.

What are the rules of the lassroom?


At the beginning of lass" we will all sit on the rug and dis uss e&#e tations for 'st graders. (e&t" students will brainstorm rules together while I write them on a #oster. Students will then sign the #oster.

What will I be doing this year?


The first day" I will give a broad overview of all the e& iting things we will learn this year. I will show the students the different stations and #ro esses they)ll need to $now in order to learn. I will #resent the students with daily routines.
