    Demonstration 6: Color Mixing and Brush Stroke Techniques Objective S1 (A & B) & S2 (C): Students will participate in a demonstration

    on color mixing that also highlights 3 important techniques in applying acrylic paint. Students will demonstrate their knowledge and practice their skill as they mix and apply acrylic paint to their canvas.

    Color Mixing Tips: 1) Pool paint When mixing paint, make a pool between the two/three colors 2) Avoid black and white to darken or lighten specific colors Black muddies and white mutes 3 Techniques: 1) Wet into wet Two colors on brush Wet into base color 2) Scumble Dry brushing 3) Detailing Layering detail with small brush (tweaking)
