Jimmys Journey Coed Softball & Duck Soup Tournament Clearwater Sports Complex

Guaranteed 4 games. Pool play then single elimination. All games will be 55 minutes long or 6 innings. New inning will not be started after 45 minutes of play. Free substitution. Bat the whole line up. At least same number of women as men. Players can play anywhere on the field-no rules regarding how many men/women are in the infield/outfield. 8 run limit per inning unless designated hat player scores. (Maximum of 12 points.) 6th inning has no run limit. Run rule is 15 runs after 3 completed innings or 10 runs after 5 completed innings. All players must be on the roster and sign liability waiver. Coin flip to see who is home team. Home team keeps score.

Duck Soup Rules: All games played on Varsity Softball field (east) 1st inning=16 Ball (provided). 2nd inning=1 pitch only and foul ball is an out. Must also run bases in reverse order. 3rd inning=All batters hit opposite handed. 4th inning=Softball rules using a tennis ball. 5th inning=Start with bases loaded. Every hit is a single & runners can only advance one base. 6th inning=1 pitch only and foul ball is an out. Must also run bases in reverse order. Last person on the roster will wear the designated hat. If that person scores it will count as 5 runs. Coed Rules: All games played on JV Softball field (west) All batters start with a 1-1 count. (2 balls/1 strike) All homeruns will be a single.UNLESS Batter wants to enter contest for longest ball hit. Batter will give umpire $1.00 prior to stepping in the batters box. If he/she hits the homerun it will count and be marked for distance. There will be a prize for the mans and womans longest hit during the pool play and again for the bracket play. Last person on the roster will wear the designated hat. If that person scores it will count as 5 runs. Each team provides their own balls and must be XXX core.

No rain date scheduled in case of bad weather. Entry fees will be returned.
