Boer goats and how to tell different pedigrees apart and to be able to get a goat fed from January to August for the county fair. Also I will be demonstrating how to clip and get a goat ready for show.

Product
Be able to tell the pedigree of the goat I raised and that I am able to feed a goat for the 7 months and have it make the county fair. This will be fairly expensive with feed and I plan on paying this off by doing a labor exchange with my dad on our family farm for doing all the work and he just pays for it.

New Learning
I will learn how to better read pedigrees and to do better research on their ancestors to I know who they are out of by their mother and the buck so I am not line breeding.

Possible Research Questions 1. How do pedigrees help in selecting your breeding stock to better your herd 2. I am continuing to look for research questions on the web. Communication Skills I will be able to skim and read through material and I would also to inform people that goat meat is actually good. Community Service Helping out on a couple goat farms in the area.
