Automated Clothesline

COEPROF22- Design Project 2

Project Overview
Chapter 1
Background of the Study
Traditional ways are sometimes
better than modern ways.
USA- spends more than 6 percent
on electric bill
Disadvantages of solar clothes
drying
Automated Clothesline
Objectives of the Study
The main objective of the study was
to design and develop a prototype of
an automated clothes line. The
proposed system includes sensors
that automatically move horizontally
when it detects rain and moves back
when there is no rain.
Objectives of the Study
1. To determine the appropriate sensor
to be used in the proposed system.
2. To build a prototype of an automated
clothes line in terms of:
a. design plan, and
b. design features; and
3. To determine the overall performance
of the proposed system in terms of its:
a. functionality, and
b. reliability.
