Happy Mothers Day!

I hope each student took

time to tell all you wonderful mothers how much you are
appreciated! They were excited to spoil you!
It is amazing how fast the time flies!! Only 6
1/2 school days left, and then you will officially be the
parent of a 4th grader! The kids are so excited!
This week, I have been busy trying to get all of
our field trip pictures uploaded to our school website. I have already put
up 75 pictures. Feel free to check them out at croftonschools.org. Click
on teacher pages and then my name. It is possible to save pictures for
yourself off the website. If you have trouble, feel free to email me at
jconnot@esu1.org, and I can email you the pictures you want directly.
This is our final full week of school, and we have a lot planned!.
On Wednesday, we will have an Elementary Field Day (more infor-
mation below). On Thursday, we will have a school-wide Career Day to
wrap up a career unit from our guidance classes with Mrs. Lorenzen.
She will send home more information about this later in the week. Aca-
demically, we have a few subjects that we will be finishing up. In science,
we will be learning about simple machines. Our focus in social studies
will be on government. We will also work on a 3rd Grade Memory Book
and wrap up other odds-and-ends.

Elementary Field Day!
Just a reminder that Crofton Elemen-
tary is having a Field Day on Wednes-
day, May 14th, from 1:00 - 3:15 p.m.
at the track next to the high school
(football field). Each student has
signed up for three events and the op-
tion of a team relay. Medals will be
given out for participation. Please re-
mind your child to wear tennis shoes
and comfortable running clothing.
You are invited to come cheer us on!
