PENSION

Whereas, many corporations/companies have failed to live


up to their pension obligations, and

Whereas, many corporations/companies have used United


States bankruptcy laws to reduce or void their pension
obligations, and

Whereas, many corporations/companies use reorganization


to reduce or void their pension obligations, and

Whereas, those corporations/companies continue to provide


bonuses or incentive pay to corporate/company officers, and

Whereas, those corporations/companies continue to pay


creditors, suppliers, and in some cases themselves, and

Whereas, the employees are always last in line, therefore

Be it Resolved, that in cases of bankruptcy, reorganization,


merger, or relocation the first obligation met is the employees'
pension,

Be it Further Resolved, this precinct of the


County of the Democratic Party work to achieve this resolution.
