EMPLOYEE FREE CHOICE ACT

Whereas, many workers in the United States have stated
they would join a labor union if given a fair opportunity, and

Whereas, the present process is excessively burdensome to

workers wanting to join or form a labor union, and

Whereas the Employee Free Choice Act world have

provided a route for many workers to have a voice in their
workplace, and

Whereas, membership in a labor union has long been the

backbone of the middle class, and

Whereas, passage of the Employee Free Choice Act was

successful and the law nearly accomplished;

Therefore be it Resolved, the precinct of the

County of the Democratic Party call for the reintroduction and
passage of the Employee Free Choice Act, and

Be it Further Resolved that this precinct of the

County of the Democratic Party adopt and work to achieve this
resolution.
