For Supplemehl State Funding for the Federal Special Nutrition for
Women, Infants, and Children WIC) Programs

Whereas funding for the Federal Special Nutrition for Women, Infants, and
Children (WIC) program is inadequate to meet the needs of women and children
in Texas,

Be it therefore resolved that the platform of the Democratic Party of Texas will
advocate legislation that will provide supplemental funding to the WIC program
so that the nutriional needs of our citizens are met.
