Project Summary

This project allows me, Majed Alshammri, to

personally give a tour to international students from
the Middle East. This will allow them to see the areas
of the school that will make them feel most at home

My background and experience in Leadership allows
the students to have a calm and understanding
experience when entering Southern Utah University.
Project Highlights
The tour is not only a campus tour, but a structured
tour throughout southern Utah to show the best in
Indian or Middle Eastern culture

There is an Indian restaurant behind Lins in
Cedar City that allows students to get more
exotic flavors.
Showing the students the locations away from
school to go to when they feel homesick will be
important to keep their mental stability well.
From My Journal
Today, I showed them the Global Engagement
center, a center that most regular students would not
try to understand, but a center that is very big on the
foreign and study abroad community.



















Just like regular orientation that introduced
students to SUU, this orientation will be a
community tour of more home elements for
Indian or Middle Eastern students.
